The Indianapolis Industrial Center would like to take a moment to recognize the 50th anniversary of “Freedom Summer” and the signing of the civil rights acts of 1964. Through non-violent action, American citizens were successful in securing release from onerous laws limiting their freedom. In the best spirit of self-sacrifice, perseverance and commitment, these Americans demonstrated for us all, the pursuit of the ideals of Freedom.
