The Indianapolis Industrial Center has again chosen to support the “Survive Alive” Program sponsored by the Indianapolis Firefighters. The program includes an interactive village designed to teach fire and life safety education to Indianapolis children.
The program mission is to: Save lives, reduce fire and burn injury and reduce igh risk behaviors in children. Staffed by FEMA Certified Public Fire and Life Safety Educators and Indianapolis Firefighters, the program teaches the students about the dangers of fire, what to do in the even of a fire, and how to get out alive, should they have a fire in their home.
This hands-on training will be helpful in expanding fire and child safety awareness, and will provide the students with an understanding of how to protect themselves in the event of an emergency.
