The Indianapolis Industrial Center announced today that the first of several facility upgrades for 2017 has been completed. The work was performed on building #1 (42,000 square feet) and included the demolition of outdated crane equipment, expanded crane service in the building, and resulted in more square footage available to both crane-served and non-crane-served use in the facility.
These improvements will enhance the functionality of the facility which offers a 3-car indoor rail siding, 25-ton capacity interior bridge crane, high storage capabilities, grade level, interior truck well, and standard dock access, availability to 1 acre of yard storage , and service by CSX. The improvements will result in 10,000 square feet of crane-served space being available to the market.
