The Indianapolis Industrial Center (IIC) today announced that, as an “open-switch” facility, Norfolk-Southern, Indiana Rail Road and Louisville and Indianapolis Rail Road can all service the industrial park. Current service through CSX remains active and unaffected although multiple carrie connections through CSX will be enhanced.
The identification of the IIC as an “open-switch” facility allows tenants and shippers to pursue short-haul and long-haul rail service options, warehouse networks and regional shipping advantages through multiple rail carriers.
About the Indianapolis Industrial Center: The IIC offers over 180,000 SF of industrially zoned warehouse and office space in a 19.5 acre park.
